Ellie Greenhalgh is the full-time Director of Children's Ministry and Parenting. She moved here from Rhode Island and was hired in 1995 as a Ministry Associate, then was asked a year later to become the Director. Ellie leads a staff of five and a volunteer staff of 300; they minister to over 1,000 kids each year.

Ellie was born and raised in Chicago. She accepted the Lord as her Saviour at age seven and has been passionate about loving and serving God ever since. She graduated from Emmaus Bible College, where she met her husband, Dave. While studying, she taught for three years at Oak Community School - a program for challenged children and young adults. After marrying, Ellie and Dave worked at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf for 12 years - Ellie as a counselor in parent guidance and teacher in physical education, and Dave as an administrator.

Ellie took courses in special education at Rhode Island College. After leaving the School for the Deaf, she taught physical education and music at West Bay Christian Academy, where Dave was Headmaster.

Dave and Ellie have four adult children and 11 grandchildren, all of whom bring enormous joy in their lives. They have served with Wycliffe Bible Translators, living and serving in Mexico and Papua, New Guinea, and have given support services to missionaries and their families in 26 countries.

Ellie's passion is loving and serving God through serving kids and their families. She has directed children's camps for 35 years in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania, and has spoken nationally and internationally at camps, conferences and retreats.

Ellie's life commitment is to "love the Lord her God with all her heart, soul, mind and strength and to love her neighbor as herself."
