Church of the Saviour offers a number of opportunities to study the Bible and Christian living that will help you grow in your relationship with God and become a mature Christian. For more information on any classes, please call the church office.

• Walk Through the Bible
  Ongoing Study Started on Jan 7, 2007

  We started our brand new five year "Walk Through the Bible" in January 2007. This is a 5-year program where in each section we walk through a major portion of the Old or New Testament. This class is held Sundays at 9:30 AM in Room A-11..

• Movies Matter
  Led by Alan Willcox

  MoviesMatter @ COS holds screenings and discussions focusing on current and classic mainstream movies with spiritual significance and artistic merit. In doing so, the focus is on identifying the 'unknown gods' hiding in films as touchstones for spiritual conversations and bridges between the church and mainstream culture.

• Precept Bible Studies
  Wednesdays (women only): @ 9:15 - 11:30 am.

  Sunday PM Precept (an inductive Bible study)

  "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly", an in-depth Precept Bible Study for men and women, starts Sunday, March 30th, 6-8PM in A11. In this 7 lesson inductive study you will learn how God can keep you when your life combines "the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." The final chapters of 2 Kings & 2 Chronicles introduce us to one of the best kings since David, and the worst king Judah ever had. Everything gets really 'ugly' when God brings the Babylonians in to judge Judah and Jerusalem for their sins. (2Kings 21-25/2 Chronicles 33-36 & Zephaniah)

  Monday Evening: Precept Bible Study on the Book of Ephesians

  Starting Monday, March 10th, 2008, 7pm to 9pm, Room 11, Fellowship Hall, Building A.

  A Precept-Upon-Precept class that typically involves weekly:

  • 5 hours of individual study
  • 1 hour of group discussion
  • 1 hour teaching video.

  A 10 lesson in-depth Inductive study: The Church: Rooted in Love, Walking in Power -Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, targeted by grace, sons of God united in a single family, inheritors, holy, redeemed, forgiven, raised from the dead and seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenlies! If you think you're just a cog in a machine, if you don't know your true identity, then this study is for you. Workbooks $20.
