Since our beginnings in the early 1970s, Church of the Saviour has sought to proclaim the gospel in the Delaware Valley and throughout the world. This commitment is reflected in our founding mission statement: His last command, our first concern. This ‘last command' is a reference to Jesus' final words to his closest followers, directing them to go throughout the world to make disciples. Over the years, God has been exceedingly kind in granting to COS wonderful opportunities to do just that.
We are also keenly interested in equipping God's people for the work of ministry. We help one another to develop in the areas for which God has gifted each of us, while making valuable contributions to his kingdom and its advance in the world. This enables us to serve God and others more effectively in light of his call and claim upon our lives.
