Millions of children around the world need hope.

Millions of abandoned and orphaned children around the world are waiting, hoping desperately for someone to reach out to them:

  • 65 million orphans in Asia
  • 34 million orphans in Africa
  • 1.5 million orphans in Eastern Europe
  • 532,000 children in the US foster-care system
  • 100-130 million estimated orphans worldwide

When children grow up without the love and care of a family, their futures are bleak. Many end up homeless, jobless, and alone. As a result, they often become involved in crime and drug addiction, or become victims of abuse and disease. Their lives are filled with despair and hopelessness.
