LIFE Groups

The teachings of Christ and the apostles give us a powerful picture of Relational Connections, Deep Life Involvement, and of Loving One Another as the key to what the church is all about.

We are committed to becoming the kind of church where the "Love One Another" teachings of the New Testament are a reality, a church where our neighbors know that we are His disciples because of the observable love that we have for one another.

We believe that active involvement in a small group is the most effective way to make this happen. We are encouraging all of our members to become part of a small group. We call these LIFE Groups. LIFE Groups are for everyone and are a foundational part of being involved here at COS.

LIFE Groups ... What are they?

• Each group consists of four to twelve people who meet on a regular basis in homes, or at the church (at least every other week).
• The groups are formed based on shared interests, shared geography (Zones), shared ministry involvement, or a combination of the above.
