Love-In-Action Ministry

The Love-In-Action Ministry of COS is funded by the generous gifts of the congregation. As servants and administrators of this ministry, deacons and deaconesses seek to show God’s love through assisting those members and attenders in financial need. They offer assistance through providing practical helps, short-term financial support, and connections to various Christian and/or community resources. A portion of this effort also reaches out to people outside of COS. Members of the board are mature men and women and dedicated to the principles of the New Testament establishment of Deacons.

Contact with the Love-In-Action board should be made by calling the COS compassion Line which is monitored daily by one of the deacons or deaconesses. The number is 610-688-6338 extension 240.

The LIA Team is broken into teams which serve various populations such as, Single Moms, Widows/Elder Single Women, Senior Couples and Singles/Young Families.
